Benfica wonderkid Joao Felix has reportedly signed a deal and completed his medical at Atletico Madrid.
The 19-year-old has attracted interest across Europe this summer following an impressive season with the Portuguese side last campaign.
Both Manchester City and Manchester United were linked with a move for the teenager but it appears Atletico have won the battle to sign the forward. According to Onda Cero, as reported by Football Espana, he has penned a contract with the La Liga side.
Spanish newspaper Marca reported on Monday that Atletico were set to sign the Portugal international for £107million.
Felix scored 20 goals and contributed 11 assists in 43 games for Benfica last season and his current deal at the club expires in the summer of 2023.
He made his first-team debut for Benfica just last season and helped the Lisbon side win the Portuguese league title by netting 15 times and providing nine assists in 21 starts.
Felix made his Portugal debut in this month's 3-1 victory over Switzerland in the UEFA Nations League semi-final.
Atletico, who finished runners-up in La Liga last season, should have plenty of money available after talismanic striker Antoine Griezmann said last month he is to leave the club.
