Nikolaj Coster-Waldau is hitting the small screen again, but in a big way.
The Hollywood Reporter announced earlier today that the Game of Thrones star will be heading to FX to co-star in Gone Hollywood, a drama pilot for the cable network about talent agents from Terriers co-creator Ted Griffin and producer Scott Rudin.
The 48-year-old Danish actor hasn’t been announced for a project since he finished playing Jaime Lannister in the HBO heavy hitter, which concluded its controversial final season last month.
The pilot of Gone Hollywood is set in the 1980s, and reportedly centers around a group of agents who leave an established firm to start their own agency. The agency receives immense popularity and industry dominance, disrupting the movie business forever. The characters are fictional, but will mix with real-life entertainment figures and events.
Coster-Waldau will play a character by the name of Jack DeVoe, and will be joined in the pilot by co-stars John Magaro, Lola Kirke, Ben Schnetzer, Jonathan Pryce, and Judd Hirsch.
