- Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos cannot wait to line-up alongside the 'world-class' Eden Hazard.
Hazard completed his long-awaited move to the Spanish capital last week, signing a five-year deal after a record £150m price tag was agreed with Chelsea.
'I think it's a great signing. He is a world-class player. It is good to reinforce the squad', he told reporters.
The 33-year-old is happy to have put the uncertainty of his future behind him after reportedly telling Zinedine Zidane and Florentino Perez last month that he wanted to leave.
He added: 'I had to go out to give the press conference. I think it was the best for everyone. The important thing was to turn the page and not talk about it any more.
'The goal is achieved. I am very happy in Real Madrid and playing for the national team is not a relief but a source of pride.
'When you have been injured, you really value what you do not have. I live it as if it were the last time. It's all very well.'
Hazard is moving to Spain for an initial fee of £88m on a five-year contract worth more than £400,000 a week.
He is set to be presented as a Real player on Thursday after international duty with Belgium, subject to a medical.
