MAURIZIO SARRI climbed aboard Cristiano Ronaldo's yacht in the French Riviera to sell his vision to Juventus' true kingmaker.
After a turbulent year with Chelsea, a suited Sarri had his homecoming on Thursday after being unveiled in front of the Italian press.
According to Calciomercato, the former banker flew to the south of France to catch up with Juventus' superstar on the latest leg of his summer holidays.
Ronaldo and his family have been cruising the Mediterranean on the five-time Ballon d'Or winner's luxury vessel, equipped with a giant inflatable slide.
After some well-earned downtime, Ronaldo turned his attention back to business by inviting his new boss on board the yacht.
The day before, Sarri had purred over the prospect of working with Ronaldo.
He said: "I coached some very strong players, but training him will be yet another step forward."
With eyewitnesses unavailable, SunSport is left to rely on history to help us picture the scene on board.
Sarri, back in the comfort of his default tracksuit, finds his new superstar lying on a sunbed alongside Cristiano Jnr.
They are wearing matching CR7 swimming shorts and sunglasses, lathered up with tanning oil.
Sarri pulls a cigarette from his pocket and lights up as he begins to explain the ins and outs of Sarriball.
The arrival of Jorginho, he explains, will be key, of course.
Ronaldo's attention is diverted by a rogue hair on his bulging thigh, missed from his most recent manscaping session. He tenses as he catches his reflection in a nearby pool.
Sarri is tasked with leading Juventus to a ninth successive Serie A title.
Sarri is explaining the importance of the pivot position when he realises. He takes a deep drag on the cigarette and rubs his stubble.
As the Italian is guided off the boat by the 40-strong staff, Sarri contemplates the season ahead.
"How on Earth are we going to win a ninth successive Scudetto?!" he thinks out loud.
Maurizio Sarri says he is moving up a step by joining Juventus and managing the best player in the world in Cristiano Ronaldo
