Bongani Zungu of South Africa has become the first player in the history of AFCON to be awarded a goal via the VAR after his header during the quarter final clash with Nigeria. He is also the first player to score against Nigeria at the AFCON as his goal would be the first goal South africa will score against Nigeria in AFCON history
