Red cards were shown to Lionel Messi and Gary Medel in the Copa America third-place play-off, with the two players coming together as they also did in the final of the 2015 edition.
In the first half of that match in 2015, Medel flew into Messi when the forward was trying to control the ball on the sidelines.
Even though the No.10 was nowhere near Claudio Bravo's goal, the Chilean committed that foul and left Messi rolling on the floor in pain in front of a furious Tata Martino.
Medel was booked for that challenge, but ended the night smiling as Chile won the tournament on penalties after a 0-0 draw.
