Neymar will be allowed to leave Paris Saint-Germain this summer, with Barcelona having already made contact, the club have confirmed.
The Brazilian looks set to depart the Ligue 1 giants less than two years after his stunning £200m world-record exit from Camp Nou.
Neymar faces disciplinary action from PSG after failing to turn up for the first day of pre-season training, with the club issuing a statement confirming the development, the latest development of an increasing strained relationship.
Asked by Le Parisien if Neymar has confirmed his desire to leave, new sporting director Leonardo replied: "It's clear to everyone [he does]. But in football, you say one thing today and tomorrow another ... It's amazing but it's like that."
He added: "The position is clear for all. But one thing is concrete today: he still has three years of contract with us. And since we have not received an offer, we can not discuss anything."
When pressed on interest from elsewhere, Leonardo said: "We have not received any offers.
"But we had, it's true, very superficial contacts [from Barcelona]. They said they wanted to buy but we were not sellers.
"Neymar can leave the PSG, if there is an offer that suits everyone. But to date, we do not know if anyone wants to buy it or at what price."
