The media in France had been somewhat quiet on the whole affair these past few days, but the outlet break the silence on Monday, explaining the Ivory Coast international ‘has ruled in favour’ of the Gunners.
With his exit from Lille described as ‘imminent’, it’s believed the player could leave the Ligue 1 side ‘in the next few hours’.
After three offers were accepted, only two caught Pépé’s attention: Arsenal’s and Napoli.
RMC explain that ‘these past few hours’, the player’s representatives have been in continuous talks with both clubs, and the forward will let Lille know his decision ‘today, or tomorrow at the latest’.
However, the belief is he’s basically already made his mind up, and he should choose Unai Emery’s side, where a five-year contract is waiting for him at the Emirates.
