Robert Snodgrass has signed a new one-year extension with West Ham

Robert Snodgrass has signed a one-year extension with the club until the summer of 2021.


The 31-year-old only had 12 months left to run on his previous deal and West Ham have moved to end any uncertainty about his future this summer.



Snodgrass has spent the last two-and-a-half years at West Ham after signing from Hull in January 2017 for a £10.2m fee.



The Scotland international has been a mainstay in the team ever since and remained a regular in Manuel Pellegrini's first year at the club despite huge competition for places.



Snodgrass faces an even tougher test to keep his place in the team next season following Pablo Fornals’ arrival but West Ham have secured his future for the next two years.

“Sometimes you get a chance to play for that one club that’s special, going through that special time, and I believe at this moment that’s West Ham. We’re trying our best to keep progressing and keep moving forward.”
