England manager Gareth Southgate has named his 25-man squad for the upcoming EURO 2020 qualifiers against Bulgaria and Kosovo.
Aston Villa defender Tyrone Mings, who has impressed in the opening weeks of the season, has been called up for the first time, while Chelsea’s Mason Mount and Leicester City’s James Maddison also feature.
Manchester United midfielder Jesse Lingard is also included in the squad, despite his lack of form for Manchester United in recent months, while Marcus Rashford, Harry Maguire and Aaron Wan Bissaka get the nod.
To the surprise of many, Manchester City defender Kyle Walker has been left out of Gareth Southgate’s plans, despite his impressive start to the season under Pep Guardiola.
