Super Eagles forward reacted after scoring his first Everton goal in the Carabao Cup 4-2 win over Lincoln City at Lincoln City.
The 23-year-old Nigeria international who moved to Goodison Park from Arsenal in the deadline day and he was handed his first start by Marco Silva on Wednesday night alongside Fabian Delph, Djibril Sidibe and Moise Kean.
Lincoln took the lead in the opening 20 seconds through Harry Anderson, but Everton responded through a sublime freekick from Lucas Digne, before Gylfi Sigurdsson put the Toffees ahead 15 minutes after the break.
But Lincoln restored parity through Bruno Andrade’s volley, however, Super Eagles star will break their resilience as he scored the winner, heading home from close range before Richarlison settled any kind of nerves by heading home minutes after Iwobi’s goal.

Everton will now turn their attention to the premier league clash with Wolverhampton Wanderers on Sunday, before travelling to Sheffield Wednesday for the third round fixture of the Carabao Cup.
