Eden Hazard returned to training on the pitch with Real Madrid on Friday.
The former Chelsea forward has been working by himself in training in recent weeks after picking up a thigh injury shortly after making a £150million switch to the Santiago Bernabeu.
But he was fit enough to take part in the session on Friday evening as he steps up his bid for his first competitive start for Real.
However, Zinedine Zidane will not be calling on him for the clash against Villarreal on Sunday as he is not yet ready.
He did not train with his team-mates, instead running alone on the pitch.
Prior to the session, Real's players also held a minute's silence after the tragic passing of former Barcelona and Spain manager Luis Enrique's daughter on Thursday at the age of nine.
The rest of the squad, not including Hazard, had a session which primarily involved ball work.
They were divided into a number of groups and worked on possession and a series of skill exercises.
