Arsenal players of Mohamed Elneny and Nacho Monreal joined Besiktas & Real Sociedad respectively ahead of September 2 transfer deadline.

The 27-year Egyptian midfielder made 89 appearances for the Gunners after arriving from Basel in January 2016 before securing a move to the Turkish Super Lig giant, while the Spain international played 250  games for the north London outfit scoring 10 goals, since coming to the club from Malaga in January 2013.

Elneny is not in Arsenal coach Unai Emery plan for the season after falling in the pecking order right now in the Gunners midifled with Lucas Torreira, Matteo Guendouzi, Granit Xhaka, Dani Ceballos and Joe Willock all ahead of him and his chances of regular football were slim.

Monreal had started all three of Arsenal's Premier League games this season leaves to return to La Liga side Real Sociedad after signing a two-year contract with the Spanish club, bringing to an end his six-and-a-half-year spell at Emirate Stadium.

Arsenal signed Kieran Tierney, 22, as his long-term replacement this month and former Celtic left-back is yet to make his Gunners debut and is not fit enough to be considered for Sunday's north London derby against Tottenham.

Monreal won three FA Cups and three Community Shields during his time at the Emirates, while Eleny lift one FA Cup and FA Community Shield.
