- Nice have completed the signing of Kasper Dolberg from Ajax for a club record £18million as the club's new owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe begins his spending spree.
The Denmark international watched on from the stands on Wednesday night as Nice were beaten 2-1 by Marseille in a game which saw play suspended following homophobic chants from home supporters.
Dolberg is one of the most promising young forwards in Europe, having made over 100 appearances in his three years at Ajax, who he joined from Silkeborg IF in 2016.
The 21-year-old will be managed by former Arsenal midfielder Patrick Vieira, who led the club to a seventh-placed finish in his first season in charge of the club last term.
