Sporting Lisbon captain Bruno Fernandes is likely to remain in Portugal this season after seeing moves to Tottenham and Manchester United fall through over the £65million fee.
The midfielder trained on Thursday morning with his team-mates at their Sporting Academy training base.
Tottenham had three bids rejected for Fernandes, while Manchester United also refused to match the asking price.

Fernandes is set to miss out on a move to the Premier League over his club's fee demands
Fernandes has been in demand for most of the summer, but his Primeira Liga club are standing firm on their £65m (€70m) valuation.
A stunning season, with 31 goals in 50 games, saw Fernandes emerge as a target for many of Europe's top clubs.
However, despite negotiations with various destinations dragging on all summer, no club was able to match the demands of Sporting.
Fernandes has also established himself as a full Portugal international, appearing in their Nations League final win over Holland.
Sporting will begin their Primera Liga campaign at Maritimo on August 11, having lost 5-0 to Benfica in the Supertaca de Candido Oliveira.
