Mauricio Pochettino cheekily declared himself "in love" with VAR after Tottenham left Manchester City with a point thanks to a decisive, late intervention from the technology.
Spurs twice came from behind to rescue a point at City but they thought the game had got away in stoppage time when Gabriel Jesus fired low past Hugo Lloris to spark wild scenes.
Just as in the Champions League meeting in April, the celebrations were allowed to continue for a significant period before referee Michael Oliver signalled for a Spurs free-kick.
Aymeric Laporte was adjudged to have handled in the build-up to the goal and the goal was chalked off in the 92nd minute as Spurs held on for an unlikely point.
Asked about his stance on the technology after the game, Pochettino told Sky Sports: "I am in love with VAR.
