Mohamed Salah wins Liverpool Goal of the Month for August

Mohamed Salah's superb individual effort against Arsenal has won Liverpool's Goal of the Month award for August.

The Egyptian netted a double over the Gunners at Anfield in a 3-1 victory, with his second a clinical finish after surging beyond David Luiz near the halfway line.

In second place was Sadio Mane's emphatic curler in the 2-1 win at Southampton as Salah's side-footed effort against Norwich City in the season opener finished third.

Mane also claims fourth spot for his second goal in the UEFA Super Cup triumph over Chelsea, while Roberto Firmino completes the top five with his outside-of-the-box strike at Burnley.
