Sane, Laporte included in Man City squad for Champions League

Manchester City have included both Leroy Sane and Aymeric Laporte in their 25-man Champions League squad.

The pair are expected be out until January.

Each club must name a maximum of 25 players. Two must be goalkeepers. There are a minimum of eight places reserved exclusively for 'locally trained players'. The maximum number of players on List A will be reduced accordingly if a club has fewer than eight locally trained players in their squad.

Clubs can include as many players as they want on List B if they were born after January 1998 and have been registered at the club for two or more years.

Teams can add an unlimited number of players on 'List B' throughout the campaign though the list has to be submitted by 10pm the day before a game.

Goalkeepers: Claudio Bravo, Ederson, Scott Carson

Defenders: Kyle Walker, John Stones, Oleksandr Zinchenko, Angelino, Aymeric Laporte, Benjamin Mendy, Joao Cancelo, Nicolas Otamendi

Midfielders: Raheem Sterling, Ilkay Gundogan, Rodri, Kevin De Bruyne, Leroy Sane, Bernardo, David Silva, Fernandinho, Riyad Mahrez

List B: Phil Foden, Eric Garcia, Taylor Harwood-Bellis
