Saka has played his way into the first team plans of coach of the Arsenal Unai Emery this season and his performance has no doubt made him a firm fan favorite following his promotion from the youth team.
Although he has represented England at U16 and 17 level, he hasn’t made the step up to the 21 yet and his recent flirtation with Nigeria suggest he could switch allegiance to the senior national team of Nigeria in the future.
That notion has somehow made coach of the U21 of England Aidy Boothroyd to confirm that he is keeping tabs on the forward , “He is definitely on the radar,” Aidy Boothroyd told the journalists when asked about Saka’s chances to get a call-up. “I saw him play against (Nottingham) Forest (last month). I know what he’s all about. He’ll do well enough before long.”
