Former minister of education, Oby Ezekwesili, has named several leading women as role models for young women in Nigeria.
Mrs Ezekwesili began a campaign on Thursday on Twitter to help young women follow fellow women they admire in order to reach their goals.
According to Ezekwesili, young women feel that social media creates a crushing pressure to be perfect.
“Today take a stand to break the cycle and #DisruptYourFeed with @the_female_lead,” she wrote.
Among the names she nominated as role models for young women are Nollywood actresses, Joke Silva and Adesua Etomi, and BBC journalist, Kiki Mordi.
