Zidane set to welcome players back for Real Mallorca clash, but Bale misses training

Real Madrid have been forced to live through much of the 2019/20 season with many players absent through injury, yet ahead of the clash with Real Mallorca, Zinedine Zidane is set to welcome players back, even if Gareth Bale is a fresh concern after he missed training.

The Welshman scored a fine goal against Croatia on international duty, but he worked alone inside Valdebebas after picking up a slight knock in that fixture.

In positive terms, Zidane welcomes back Thibaut Courtois, Alphonse Areola, Casemiro, Eden Hazard and Eder Militao to full training on Wednesday morning, with the hope being most can take part in the next match.

Toni Kroos and Lucas Vazquez also trained separately from the group, but aren't far away from returning, yet the same can't be said for Luka Modric, Nacho and Marco Asensio who are all medium to long-term absentees.
