Buhari Celebrates Nigerian Farmers At 23rd Farmers Day Celebration

President Muhammadu Buhari took time to celebrate farmers in the country.

As the country celebrated 23rd Farmers Day today.

According to reports gathered, the day which is yearly celebrated is known to be organzied by Nigerian Agip Oil Company (NAOC) and its JV partners .

The celebration for this year went down in Rivers State.

According to Buhari in a video released on his Twitter page claimed that Nigerian farmers are "authentic heroes"

I sent a goodwill message to the 23rd Farmers Day Celebration, organised annually by the Nigerian Agip Oil Company (NAOC) and its JV partners - this year in Obie, Rivers State. Nigeria's farmers are its authentic heroes, not only for today, but for tomorrow and evermore.
