Tottenham announced sack of Mauricio Pochettino on Tuesday night.
Pochettino had been in north London for five-and-a-half-years years and during his five full seasons, led the club to fifth, third, second, third and fourth-placed finishes.
He also guided the club to reaching last season’s Champions League final.
But, ultimately, no trophies and 25 points in their last 24 league games saw Daniel Levy pull the trigger.
And after Spurs announced their decision to sack Pochettino, we were waiting for the players to give their verdict on the news.
He tweeted: “I can’t thank this man enough. He’s taught me so much and I’m so grateful for everything he’s done for me. Good luck and hope to see you again my friend.”
