Former Barcelona and Chelsea forward Samuel Eto'o has congratulated Jose Mourinho following his appointment as Tottenham Hotspur manager.
Mourinho succeeded Mauricio Pochettino at the helm after penning a four-year deal on Tuesday that will keep him in the North London until 2023.
The appointment comes 11 months after the Portuguese tactician was sacked at Old Trafford for his poor start to the 2018-19 season.
Eto'o played under Mourinho at Inter Milan where he won the Uefa Champions League, Serie A and Coppa Italia in the 2009-10 campaign before reuniting with him at Chelsea in 2013.
In his congratulatory message on Instagram, the four-time African Footballer of the Year sent his best wishes to Mourinho on his new adventure with Spurs.
Mourinho first moved to England in 2004 where he won the Premier League title two seasons in a row with Chelsea before claiming his third league crown on his return to Stamford Bridge during the 2014-15 campaign.
He later joined Manchester United in May 2016 on a three-year contract where he won Uefa Europa League, English League Cup and Community in 2017.
