Ljungberg drops Sokratis and Guendouzi: 4-2-1-3 Predicted Arsenal XI vs Norwich

Freddie Ljungberg will be in charge of his first game as the interim coach of Arsenal when they take on Norwich City in the Premier League on Sunday.

Although he's been appointed on a temporary basis, the former Sweden international will be looking to get Arsenal back to winning ways.

The Gunners are currently sitting on 8th place on the Premier league log and eight points adrift of Chelsea in fourth place.

Emery led Arsenal to their worst campaign in the last decade, where they have managed to win just one league game on the road this season and that came against Newcastle.

Ljungberg is looking to turn our season around. To be able to achieve that, he'd have to install his own style, create an identity for the team and tweak the formation.

We take a swipe at how Arsenal may set-out under Ljungberg

Emery normally tweaked his formation between a back three and a back four with David Luiz and Sokatris at the heart of the back-line. There are suggestions that Ljugberg favours playing with a back four, and Sokratis might just be dropped for Holding. Bellerin and Tierney will likely be given the nod for the right and left back positions.

In the middle of the pack, we expect to see Torreira, who has been played out of position by Emery, sit in front of the back four as the anchor. Guendouzi has been a revelation for us but his recent form has been below par. Xhaka could play in midfield as well along Ozil as the creative hub.

Meanwhile, Aubameyang, Lacazette and Pepe are favourites to be in the front-line of a 4-3-3 formation.
