The 31-year-old hasn't featured in the Premier League since early September
Mesut Ozil's absence from a Premier League starting line-up looks set to end this afternoon.
The Arsenal attacking midfielder made his first appearance across any competition in six games when he started the Carabao Cup tie against Liverpool on Wednesday night.
But he didn't complete the full 90 minutes, which some fans felt was a hint at towards getting a start in the Premier League against Wolves.
And head coach Unai Emery revealed that Ozil is in the matchday squad.
"He is in the squad and I think he has the possibility to play," Emery said. "I said to him every time what is my plan with him. When he's available, when he's training well, when he's consistent, when he's positive he can help us a lot.
"Now I am seeing him positive and consistent. On Wednesday with his performance in Liverpool, I think this is the way we want. Also I am helping him, supporting him, demanding of him.
"This is the Mesut I think everyone wants."
But will the 31-year-old start his first Premier League game since the 2-2 draw with Watford?
That could very well be the case if Ozil's Instagram stories are anything to go by.
Taking to social media Ozil has done his best to hype up the big game at the Emirates Stadium which would suggest he's set to start.
In addition, the midfielder did similar ahead of the trip to Anfield.
With Granit Xhaka set to miss out once again, it looks set to be a choice between Ozil and Ceballos for the attacking midfield role against Wolves.
Whoever gets the nod will be tasked with creating chances for the expected attacking trio of Nicolas Pepe, Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
