OFFICIAL: Ousmane Dembele suffers muscle injury in the right thigh

Ousmane Dembele picked up an injury and limped off the pitch in the 24th minute of Barcelona's clash with Borussia Dortmund at the Camp Nou.

The Frenchman was replaced by compatriot Antoine Griezmann, who was dropped to the bench by Ernesto Valverde for the match against the German side.

Dembele didn't manage to reach a Sergi Roberto cross and fell on the ground, immediately calling for a substitute.

If his injury is confirmed by the club's medical staff, it will be his sixth in a troubled season for the 22-year-old.

OFFICIAL STATEMENT: 

The first team player Dembele has a right thigh injury. 
He will undergo testing to determine the exact extent of the injury.
