'Thank you for support' - Gomes speaks for the first time since horror injury

Everton midfielder Andre Gomes has spoken for the first time since suffering a fracture dislocation of his right ankle.

Gomes has undergone surgery since sustaining the injury against Tottenham at Goodison Park on Sunday.

In a video on Twitter, Gomes thanked those who have offered words of comfort.

He said: 'Thank you for the unconditional support.'
