Former Senate president Bukola Saraki's wife, Toyin took to social media to remember her father-in-law, Oloye Senator Dr. Abubakar Olusola Saraki, Waziri of Ilorin Emirate, who passed away on 14th November 2012.
She wrote;
Today, as always, I remember with utmost gratitude to Almighty God, the life and legacies of my wonderful father-in-law, a great father and loving grandfather, Oloye Senator Dr. Abubakar Olusola Saraki, Waziri of Ilorin Emirate, 17th May 1933 - 14th November 2012.
Oloye, the great patriarch, statesman and leader, always charming and approachable, a mentor to many and a dependable ally to all.
May his soul rest in perfect peace. Amen.

Olusola Abubakar Saraki (17 May 1933 – 14 November 2012) is the father of Bukola Saraki and was a Nigerian politician, who was a Senator of the Nigerian Second Republic (1979-1983). He was the holder of the chieftaincy title of the Waziri of the Ilorin Emirate, and belonged to the Agoro compound in Agbaji.
