Barcelona prodigy Ansu Fati surprised of children by returning to the football school where he took his first steps as a player in Seville, although he has one clear wish this Christmas: to go to the European Championship next summer.
The 17-year-old has been a revelation this season and that caused the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) to quickly ensure that Ansu is tied to Spain, rather than Guinea-Bissau. He has already represented Spain's under-21s.
"I feel at home [at this football school in Seville] and it doesn't cost me anything to be here with these kids," Ansu told Mediaset Sport.
There is already talk that the Barcelona forward could be selected as part of La Roja's squad for the European Championship, which he has admitted he would like to do.
"Going to the Euros? I hope so, I hope so," he made clear.
During the event at the football school in Seville, Ansu was accompanied by his father at all times, who is trying to manage his son's sudden stardom.
"We don't forget where we've come from, our roots, and Ansu has his feet on the ground," his father stated.
