Clearly, as the year 2009 encapsulated two seasons, 2008/09 and 2009/10, members of both squads will be present at the Camp Nou, with former captain Carles Puyol front and centre.
The players from those two seasons will receive an ovation from the supporters before being photographed with the six trophies they won in 2009: LaLiga Santander, the Copa del Rey, the Champions League, the Supercopa de Espana, the European Super Cup and the Club World Cup.
Barcelona have invited all of the members from those squads to attend.
In addition to Puyol, the Blaugrana have received confirmation that Gaby Milito, Keita, Pinto, Abidal and Xavi Torres will attend, and they will join three members of the current side who played in those seasons: Messi, Busquets and Pique.
On behalf of the technical staff, Aureli Altimira will be there. Representatives of the Board of Directors at the time will be up in the directors' box, too.
