Chelsea defender, Antonio Rudiger took to his Twitter page to share his latest philanthropical work.
According to reports, the defender went back to his roots in Sierra Leone to help finance children in need of surgeies.
It was learnt that the children were suffering from cleft lips, Burns and deformations.
He tweeted: "Proud of my origins in Sierra Leone 🇸🇱💚 And happy to give something back 🙏🏾🤲🏾 Together with the team of BigShoe we could make it possible again to help 11 children in need with surgeries. They were suffering from cleft lips, burns and deformations."
The centre back who plays for Germany added saying: "Last week I got the message from the medical team that everything went fine - thanks a lot for the amazing support to Dr. Jürgen Arndt and the interplast team again. And one more time all the best to the kids & their families 🙏🏾 #blessed #OneTeam #AlwaysBelieve"
He went on to reveal that the surgeries were all successful and went ahead to thank the medical team.
Recall that on Sunday, Rudiger suffered alleged racial chants from Tottenham Hotspur supporters in the London derby.
This came after he was involved in a tangle with Heung Mi Son, which saw the South Korean sent off for indecent conduct.
