Ghana international and Newcastle United midfielder, Christian Atsu Twasam on Wednesday uploaded a picture of his family on Twitter, leaving a Christmas message for his numerous fans.
“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever. Merry Christmas to everyone,” stated the 27-year-old who is expected to play a key part in his team’s Boxing Day’s Premier League trip to Manchester United.
The vastly travelled player teamed up with the Magpies in 2017 from Chelsea for € 7.5m, after playing on loan at a string of clubs including Malaga, Porto, Everton, Bournamount, Vitesse Arhmen an Rio Ave.
The Black Stars player is married to a German, Marie-Claire Rupio. The Couple met during Atsu's loan spell at Rio Ave in Portugal and got married in 2012.
Having been together for the past six years, they have two very young sons who are the light of the family.
