Scott McTominay started Manchester United's match against Newcastle on Boxing Day with plenty of fire, as he picked up the fastest Premier League booking in at least 13 years.

McTominay caught Newcastle midfielder Sean Longstaff with a late challenge inside the first 30 seconds of the encounter, with referee Kevin Friend showing the Scotland international a yellow card.
The booking, issued just 24 seconds into the match, was the fastest yellow card given in a Premier League match since Opta began collecting exact time data for bookings in the competition.
McTominay's yellow wasn't the quickest in English football history, however, as Vinnie Jones picked up a booking just five seconds into Sheffield United's match against Manchester City in March 1992.
