Victor Osimhen netted his ninth Ligue 1 goal of the season to hand his team Lille a slim 1-0 win over Brest in a Friday League game played in France



It took just 16 minutes for the forward to score the goal that separated the teams at the end of regulation time as he expertly turned home a pass from Jonathan Ikone in his usual predatory style.

The goal means he has now scored five goals in his last seven games for both club and country as he scored thrice for Nigeria during the AFCON 2021 Qualifiers games against Benin Republic and Lesotho respectively.

He is presently the striker with the most goals for players at the age of 20 and below in the top five league in Europe. A form which has shot him up the radar of top teams in Europe who are lining up a move for him despite just a season in France.

Aside his goals in the Ligue 1 he also has two goals in this season UEFA Champions League despite his team struggling to make an impression in the tournament as they are presently bottom of their group.
