Nigerian striker, Victor Osimhen has been taken to the hospital after suffering an injury in Lille's feisty encounter with AS Monaco. According to Canal+, Osimhen was rushed to the hospital after he complained of chest pain and a sensation of his head spinning. The forward opened the scoring at Monaco in the 19th minute with a superb finish a after an assist by Jonathan Ikone.
Osimhen was however substituted four minutes after scoring with former Chelsea man, Loic Remy replacing him.The 20-year old has now scored nine Ligue 1 goals for Lille this season and manager Cristopher Galtier will be hoping the injury isn't too serious.
