The 23-year-old centre-back has been linked with a move to the Emirates throughout the January transfer window.

And according to a report from Ukrainian outlet, Komanda, the two clubs have now agreed a fee Matviyenko.

Arsenal are on the hunt for a new central defender, following injuries to Tierney and Kolasinac at left back and Callum Chambers at center.

Last night, the injury list piled up for the Gunners after Mustafi was stretched off in the 2-1 win against Bournemouth in the fourth round of FA Cup.

Although, the extent of the injury is yet to be revealed by the club.

Recall that Arsenal were in a hunt for Flamengo defender, Pablo Mari. But the deal seems to be off due to negotiations problem.

It has been reported that the center back has returned to Brazil to join his club for pre season.
