FC Barcelona has finally parted ways with their Coach Ernesto Valvrade after it was decided by the management that they needed a new manager to move forward.
Ernesto replaced Luis Enrique in the summer of 2017 and has gone to win 3 trophies for the Catalan giants. During his tenure, Barcelona has recorded heavy loses, the famous which is the 4-0 semifinal loss to Liverpool at Anfield in the UEFA champions league after they had recorded a 3-0 win at Camp Nou.
Barcelona has been underperforming this season, which made the club decided the best thing is to terminate the coach contract having recently signed a one year extension and sign Xavi , a legend as coach.
With Ernesto's tactics and style of play, it's evident that Barcelona has no future with him, so hiring Xavi a former footballer and midfield legend is a great step to take.
Although, the announcement hasn't been made official, it's clear and certain that the midfield icon would be announced as the new FCB manager sooner rather than later.
