Breaking: Mahrez snubs 2019 CAF Awards to play League Cup against Man Utd

Riyad Mahrez has reportedly snubbed the 2019 CAF Awards. According to reports gathered, the Algerian is on the starting XI to face Manchester United in the league cup.

Manchester City will face their rival Manchester United at Old Trafford in the first leg of the League Cup.

According to sources, Riyad Mahrez starts for Pep Guardiola's side.

Mahrez has been nominated in the best player for the men's category in the CAF Awards.

The Algeria set to go head to head with Liverpool duo Saido Mane and Mohamed Salah for the men's gong.
