Arsenal are looking to make additions in the January transfer window to strengthen the squad, but Gunners head coach Mikel Arteta could also see exits from the Emirates Stadium.
Real Madrid loanee Dani Ceballos has dropped a huge hint that he could be set to leave Arsenal after posting a message on social media to Hector Bellerin.
The 23-year-old has seen his opportunities this season restricted by injury and is yet to appear for the Gunners since Mikel Arteta took charge last month.
He was on the bench for Arsenal's 2-2 draw with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday, where the 10-man Gunners fought back from behind twice.
Ceballos long-term future remains up in the air but, commenting on Hector Bellerin's Instagram post after the full-back's late equaliser against the Blues, he suggested a permanent move to the Emirates Stadium at the end of his loan stint is unlikely.
"I’ll miss those goals with the left foot bro! You deserve all the good that happens to you," he wrote.
Arteta has insisted that Ceballos has a part to play in the second half of the season and he could be given an opportunity in the FA Cup against Bournemouth on Monday evening
