Espanyol have bolstered their defence with the addition of Getafe centre-back Leandro Cabrera on Monday.Los Periquitos deposited the Uruguayan's nine million euro release clause at LaLiga's headquarters on Friday, while Cabrera has agreed to a contract with Espanyol until June 30, 2024.
On Monday morning, Cabrera passed his medical examination and was then able to train with his new teammates for the first time.
