Liverpool continued their unbeaten run in the Premier League after Roberto Firmino's late winner gave the Reds a 2-1 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Molineux on Thursday night. The win made it 40 games without tasting one defeat for the Reds.
Despite getting a win, the table-toppers were dealt with a huge blow in the game as one of their key players Sadio Mane limped off in the first half after just 33 minutes of play.
Mane's injury in the game is suspected to be a hamstring problem and was replaced by winter signing Takumi Minamino in the 33rd minute.
The African footballer of the year has been tipped by many to be Liverpool's best player this season and it will come as a huge blow for Jurgen Klopp who will be losing arguably his best player this season, with their hunt for first Premier League trophy in 30 years entering the decisive stages.
Mane is expected to miss Liverpool's FA Cup fourth-round tie against Shrewsbury on Sunday, and will also be a doubt for their outstanding league game against West Ham United next week Wednesday.
