The party was held at Cubana Club, Victoria Island, Lagos. Some celebrities who attended the party include Peruzzi, Zlatan, and Naira Marley. Also at the occasion was former housemate of Big Brother Naija 2019 edition, Ike Onyema.
Kechi Okwuchi, the Jesuit college student who was among the 2 people that survived the ill-fated Portharcourt bound flight in 2005 which crashed on the runway and killed 107 people. She has had more than 100 surgeries, including skin grafts in the US as a result of the severe burns which had all over her body. Kechi is the new super woman, she attained greatness above all.
The 2017 America’s Got Talent finalist Kechi Okwuchi turned 30, October 29, and she turned up 'big time' with some Nigerian celebrities to celebrate it in grand style. On Tuesday 29th of October she held the event which was attended by people from all walks of life including celebrities at Cubana Club, on of the biggest clubs in Lagos.
It was a special event, that attracted more celebrities than any other in the year 2019. It was a unique event, the only one of its kind; unlike anything else.
After the unlucky incident, Kechi Okwuchi turned out to be the stroke of good luck the world needed. Not only did she manage to brace every single surgery she has done to keep herself together, she has also turned out to be a 'big inspiration'. This is what made the event so special, Inspiring people to never give up in life. Most burn victims would rather stay indoor and die in silence, but Kechi has come out to show that no matter your current situation or deformities, there's always hope when there's life.
