Reuben Abati, a renowned journalist, accomplished public affairs commentator, a media guru and spokesperson of former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has secretly divorced his wife. The two who were both married at a glamorous wedding ceremony at Ibadan in May 28, 2016 are no longer as ‘Husband and Wife’.
The embattled wife of the famous journalist, Lara, is the second wife. She is also the mother of the two boys of the former presidential spokesperson. The May 2016 wedding was a ceremony put altogether to consummate their love affair which unfortunately has hit the rocks. In fact, Lara, was the brain behind the jubilee (50th) birthday celebration of Reuben Abati some years ago.
Even though, both parties have managed to return back to their normal lives. Lara has re-married her Swedish husband with whom she has a child, while Reuben Abati is back in the arms of his first wife, and moving on with his media job.
