Tottenham confirm Kane has been ruled out until April, set to undergo surgery

Tottenham have confirmed Harry Kane will undergo surgery on his ruptured tendon.

According to reports gathered, the English striker won't return to training until April.

Recall that Kane was substituted after he pulled his harmstring in the 1-0 loss to Southampton last week.

The Spurs official website said on a announcement:

"Following ongoing assessment by our medical staff over the past week, we can confirm that Harry Kane will undergo surgery to repair a ruptured tendon in his left hamstring."

"The striker suffered the injury during our Premier League fixture against Southampton last week and specialists have advised surgery after further review of the injury."
