The 21-year-old was in magnificent form throughout the Christmas period for Liverpool and produced a particularly impressive display as Jurgen Klopp's side thrashed second-place Leicester 4-0 at the King Power stadium on Boxing Day.
He scored once in that game and assisted another two goals in that match and set up three goals overall in December.
Alexander-Arnold also played a part in Liverpool's stern defence keeping four clean sheets in five matches.
Liverpool are 13 points clear of Leicester at the summit of the English Premier League table with a game in hand.
Alexander-Arnold and Liverpool are next in action on Saturday's late kick-off in the Premier League, away to Jose Mourinho's Tottenham.
