Justin Bieber pays tribute to Kobe Bryant with throwback jersey as he joins wife Hailey for lunch in Malibu

Justin Bieber paid homage to the late Kobe Bryant as he headed out to lunch with wife Hailey to Nobu Malibu on Sunday.

Bieber, 25, was clad in a blue throwback Adidas jersey with Kobe's number eight, as he also took to Instagram with a special message a week to the day the basketball icon died at 41 in a helicopter crash with his daughter Gianna, 13, and seven others.

'I am committed working the hardest, never settling for less than greatness!' Bieber wrote. 'YOU TAUGHT US THAT @kobebryant.'

Bieber, who sported a mustache and earrings on the daytime outing, rounded out his ensemble with cutoff khaki shorts and white slippers with white socks.

Hailey, a 23-year-old model, looked sleek in a black leather coat over a black skirt with sneakers and socks.

The Tucson, Arizona-born stunner, whose parents are actor Stephen Baldwin and graphic designer Kennya Baldwin, accessorized with black sunglasses, a black purse, rings and gold hoop earrings. She had her hair parted and tied in the back.

Bieber has been outspoken in the week following Bryant's tragic death, taking to social media with multiple tributes to the 20-year NBA veteran.
