Lacazette, Pepe and Tierney train ahead of Olympiacos clash

The Arsenal squad have been in high spirits during the final training session ahead of Thursday night's Europa League round of 32 second leg clash against Olympiacos.

Alexandre Lacazette's late winner in Greece has put the Gunners in a very good position to ensure they're in the hat for the round of 16 draw which takes place on Friday.

It's a competition which could provide the north London outfit's best chance of sealing a return to the Champions League next season, but head coach Mikel Arteta has said his team selection won't be affected because of his side's position in the Premier League table.

The left-back joins Calum Chambers on the sidelines, while January loan signing Cedric Soares is aiming to make a full return to training before the end of the month.

Kieran Tierney finds himself in a similar position following two months out with a dislocated shoulder, but he took part in Wednesday's training session at London Colney.

The Scotland international was joined by U23's stars Folarin Balogun, Tolaji Bola, Zech Medley and Matt Smith as Arteta once again took the opportunity to take a look at some of the club's wonderkids.

Elsewhere, first-team stars such as Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Nicolas Pepe, Gabriel Martinelli, Alexandre Lacazette, Reiss Nelson, Lucas Torreira and Matteo Guendouzi were all put through their paces ahead of the game against the Greek outfit.
