Norwich City delighted as Ghanaian international signs fresh deal

This will delight Norwich fans all over the world.


Alexander Tettey has signed a one-year contract extension.



The Ghanaian is currently Norei h City’s longest-serving player.

Tettey new extension will see his deal run through to the summer of 2021.

Tettey spoke on club's official website: “It’s massive for me. It feels so good to be in Norwich and my family are happy. When my family is happy, I’m happy. I have been for many years since I’ve been here, so it’s nothing new to me, but it’s a very big and positive thing for me.

“I do give advice whenever it’s necessary, but you don’t want to be on the young players all the time because you have to give them some room to grow and learn themselves. All the senior guys do give advice.

Recall that Tettey signed for Norwich City on a two-year deal for an undisclosed fee in 2012.

He continue: “There have been a few ups and downs throughout my time, but Wembley was a standout moment [winning the play-off final in 2015], as was winning the Championship trophy in 2019. They were huge.”



Norwich City made a return to the Premier League from the Championship. Although, Farke side started in a bright note with forward Pukke scoring.


But the team suffered loss of form and find themselves in the bottom of the league standings.

Now, Norwich will be hoping to save their season through escape from relegation.

Norwich will host Liverpool this weekend at the Carrow road.
