Manchester City CEO, Ferran Soriano has addressed the ban on the club.

Recall that Manchester City have been banned for two years from playing in UEFA Champions League.

This comes after the Citizens were alleged to have broken financial fair play rules.

Although, the club have until ten days to appeal the ban.

Ferran Soriano says the allegations against the club are false and that Manchester City hasn't broken any rules.

He added that the club will do everything possible to appeal and ensure that the sanction is overturned.

He said: "The owner has not put money in this club that has not been properly declared. We are a sustainable football club, we are profitable, we don’t have debt, our accounts have been scrutinised many times, by auditors, by regulators, by investors and this is perfectly clear."

Meanwhile, Manchester City will host West Ham in a rescheduled match tonight at the Etihad stadium.

Recall that the game was expected to go down two weeks ago, but poor weather conditions forced the football FA to postpone the game.
